Attention, design lovers: Spring is officially approaching. As the colors outside change from gloomy gray to perfectly sunny and pastel, our interiors also request a bit of a refresh — and there's no better way for your space to blossom than by celebrating the trends of the season.

Pinterest gave us intel on this season's top home trends from its official 2017 trend report, and the decor you have to look forward to is delightful. Think modern acrylic accents, glimmering copper and the Danish way of staying cozy even as the temperature outside warms up. (On the other hand, you'll want to ditch these outdated trends.)

Embrace spring early with the following trends, and feel your interiors brighten up just as much as the weather outside.

Copper

Go beyond silver and gold (and avoid the slight brass overkill of 2016) by incorporating a fashionable copper accent to your space. Interest in copper on Pinterest is up 90 percent, and its uses are versatile: Add a touch of glamour to a tablescape with a copper vase, make a statement with a copper light fixture or try out copper flatware.

Marble Wallpaper

If all things marble are the key to your design-loving heart, but the downfall of your bank account, try marble wallpaper, which has seen an explosive 303 percent increase in interest on Pinterest. While slathering Calacatta gold marble all over your home is an expensive habit, an accent wall of marble wallpaper is a stylish and unexpected touch that's also, ahem, reasonable.

Acrylic

The growing interest in acrylic is perfectly, er, clear: Searches for acrylic decor have increased by 50 percent on Pinterest, and the material is quickly appearing on everything from modern tables to chic floating frames. If you're working with a small space, see-through acrylic furniture can also be a strategic choice to help open up the room.

Wood Tiles

Care for an alternative to subway tile? Add wood tile to just about any surface, and imagine Joanna Gaines complimenting you on your rustic-but-chic style. Interest in wood tile has increased by 51 percent on Pinterest, and we're seeing it on everything from kitchen islands to fireplaces.

Hygge

It may have earned its critics along the way, but the world just can't get enough of hygge, the Danish concept of living simply that's pronounced like "hoogah": Interest in it has increased by 285 percent on Pinterest. To follow the "decorate cozy, live simply" mantra yourself, outfit your home with flickering candles (the Danes are the biggest consumers of candles in the world, after all), cover your couches with throw blankets galore and display a few of your favorite books on the coffee table.

Climbing Plants

A plant on this list shouldn't be surprising, considering Pantone's Color of the Year is Greenery. Lush, flourishing vines are appearing in the form of climbing plants, which are (conveniently) nearly impossible to kill. With an increased interest of 200 percent on Pinterest, these plants are the rejuvenation your home may need after the stuffy, cold winter months.

Navy Blue Instead Of Black

Just about everyone loves Scandinavian design, but this spring, designers are turning away from the go-to matte black and crisp white color scheme, and more toward navy and deep blue tones. Lend your space a moody element with a velvet sectional or a high-gloss statement wall.
